Featuring a series of exaggerated diamond swags, set with large pear-shaped diamonds, the provenance of Princess Grace’s Diamond Swag Tiara is unknown, though the design is similar to pieces from Cartier or Van Cleef & Arpels from the period, and was probably originally a necklace. Princess Grace first wore the Tiara for a series of portraits in 1956, soon after her marriage, with her Van Cleef & Arpels Necklace.

Its also unknown if the piece was personally owned by Princess Grace, but unlike many of the jewels she loaned from jewellers, she wore her Diamond Swag Tiara a few years later, at the the Bal des Petits Lits Blancs in 1965, paired with her Van Cleef & Arpels Earrings. Since the Tiara hasn’t been publicly worn or displayed in the years since, its quite likely that it no longer exists.
