The Princess Royal, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester joined King Charles and Queen Camilla for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show at the Royal Hospital Chelsea on May 19th. Members of the Royal Family have attended the Show, held by the Royal Horticultural Society, regularly since its inception in 1913.
King Charles III, Patron of the The Royal Horticultural Society, and Queen Camilla, along with Princess Royal, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, visited the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
The King and Queen first visited the RHS and The King’s Foundation Curious Garden, designed to encourage the nation to discover the joy of getting curious about gardening. The collaboration between the RHS and the foundation will celebrate the vital contribution plants make to the health of people, places and the planet.
Members of the Royal Family will separately tour some of the gardens and floral displays, reflecting the rich variety of the more than 400 exhibits and organisations represented at the Flower Show.
Established in 1913, on the grounds of Royal Hospital Chelsea in London, the RHS Chelsea Flower Show has become one of the world’s greatest showcases for horticultural excellence, attracting victors and exhibitors from across the globe.
