King Charles III held a Garden Party to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the King’s Trust in the gardens of Buckingham Palace on May 14th. This is one of two special Garden Parties to be held following the three annual garden parties, with the first held on May 6th, the second on May 8th, and the last on May 12th.
King Charles III hosted a Garden Party to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the King’s Trust in the spectacular gardens of Buckingham Palace. Formerly known as The Prince’s Trust, the King’s Trust founded by King Charles in 1976 is celebrating its five decades of supporting disadvantaged young people. Earlier this week, the King and Queen attended ‘A King’s Trust Celebration’ at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Each garden party begins with the royal family’s arrival and the British national anthem, followed by more music and informal meetings with guests. Guests are then invited to enjoy tea and explore the palace gardens.
Among the attendees were British actors Helen Mirren and Damien Lewis, both of whom have played royals themselves.
