The Dutch Royal Family joined King Willem-Alexander for the annual Koningsdag (King’s Day) celebrations in Dokkum on April 27th. Koningsdag, a Bank Holiday in the Netherlands, celebrates King Willem-Alexander’s Birthday, and members of the Royal Family attend celebrations in a different city each year.
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima were joined by members of the extended Dutch Royal Family, including the Princess of Orange, Princess Alexia, and Princess Ariane, for the annual Koningsdag (King’s Day) celebrations in Dokkum in the province of Fryslân.

The Royal Family is on their way to the center for the King’s Day celebrations. During their walk through a historic and vibrant setting that the city already is in itself, the family sees the story of Dokkum, the region, and Friesland pass by.
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands held the annual Gala Dinner for the Diplomatic Corps at the Royal Palace of Amsterdam in Dam Square a few days ago.
