Royal Ascot 2023 | Day 5

The British Royal Family attended the fifth day and final of races at the Ascot Racecourse on June 24th. Royal Ascot is a permanent fixture on the British Royal Family’s June calendar and the late Queen attended all five days of the horse-racing event for over 70 years. This year, Royal Ascot follows Order of the Garter Service, Trooping the Colour and the Coronation.

Day One | Day Two | Day Three | Day Four

A Royal Procession of four carriages traveled from Windsor Castle to the Ascot Racecourse in horse-drawn landaus, before the Royal Family and their guests spent the day in the Royal Enclosure:

King Charles III and Queen Camilla were joined by the Earl and Countess of Caledon in the First Carriage.

Princess Zahra Aga Khan and Lady Weatherby joined Lord and Lady Frederick Windsor in the Second Carriage.

Lady Gabriella and Thomas Kingston were joined by Mr. & Mrs. Andrew Balding in the Third Carriage.

The Fourth Carriage included Mr. & Mrs. Lanfranco Dettori with Mr. & Mrs. Jamie Snowden.

  1. Nice to see some of the wider royal family invited, since they don’t get to do balcony appearances any more.
