Happy Birthday to Princess Tatiana Radziwiłł, Mrs Fruchaud! The only daughter of Prince Dominic Radziwiłł and Princess Eugenie of Greece and Denmark, she was born in France and spent some years of her childhood with the Greek Royal Family in exile in South Africa during World War II. During that time, Princess Tatiana became close friends with her cousin Princess Sophia of Greece, now Queen Sofia of Spain, and the two have remained lifelong friends ever since. She grew up in France, with frequent visits to Greece, and holidays around the world with her grandmother, the glamorous Princess Marie Bonaparte, a patron of Freud. She attended many grand events, including the Weddings of King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia, King Constantine and Queen Anne Marie, and the Greek Monarchy Centenary, being linked to Crown Prince Harald of Norway. In 1966, Princess Tatiana married John-Henri Fruchaud at the Royal Palace of Athens, settling in Paris, where she had two children, Fabiola and Alexis. Princess Tatiana remains close to the Greek and Spanish Royal Families, attending most of their events. We wish HRH a very Happy Birthday and Many Happy Returns!
