Wedding Gala of Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg and Countess Stephanie de Lannoy, 2012

Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie of Luxembourg are celebrating their Wedding Anniversary tomorrow,  so we are taking a look back to their spectacular Pre-Wedding Gala Dinner at the Grand Ducal Palace on this day in 2012!

After a civil ceremony officially married Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Countess Stephanie de Lannoy in the afternoon of October 19th, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Theresa hosted a grand gala dinner at the Grand Ducal Palace in Luxembourg City. In attendance were almost all European Royal Families, gathered for the wedding of the last heir of the generation.

Grand Duke Henri wore Uniform with the Sash and Star of the Order of the Gold Lion of the House of Nassau. Grand Duchess Maria Theresa wore an Elie Saab gown with the Chaumet Pearl and Diamond Choker Tiara. Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume wore Uniform with the Sash and Star of the Order of the Gold Lion of the House of Nassau. Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie wore a Elie Saab gown with the Vine Leaves Tiara. Prince Felix, Prince Louis, and Prince Sebastian wore White Tie with the Sash and Star of the Order of the Gold Lion of the House of Nassau. Princess Alexandra wore a puce gown with the Small Floral Tiara. Princess Tessy wore a red gown with Grand Duchess Adélaïde Tiara.

Princess Margaretha of Luxembourg wore a red Elie Saab gown with the Aquamarine Bandeau Tiara. Princess Marie Astrid of Luxembourg wore a red gown with the Emerald Peacock Tiara. Princess Sibylla wore a navy gown with Queen Victoria Eugenie’s Aquamarine Parure, borrowed from her own family.

King Harald of Norway wore Uniform with the Sash and Star of the Order of the Gold Lion of the House of Nassau. Queen Sonja wore a blue gown with Queen Maud’s Pearl Tiara. Crown Prince Haakon wore Uniform with the Sash and Star of the Order of Adolph of Nassau. Crown Princess Mette Marit wore a red Pucci gown with her Diamond Daisy Bandeau. Princess Martha Louise wore a sequinned gown with King Olav’s Gift Tiara.

Queen Paola wore a navy gown with Queen Elisabeth’s Diamond Bandeau . King Albert and the then Crown Prince Philippe wore Uniform with the Sash and Star of the Order of the Gold Lion of the House of Nassau. Then Crown Princess Mathilde wore a blue gown with her Laurel Wreath Tiara. Queen Fabiola wore a purple gown with a diamond flower in her hair. Princess Astrid wore a green Elie Saab with her Savoy-Aosta Tiara. Princess Claire wore a green gown with her Pearl and Diamond Tiara. Prince Lorenz and Prince Laurent wore White Tie with the Order of Adolph of Nassau.

Then Crown Prince Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands wore Uniform with the Sash of the Order of the Oak Crown. Crown Princess Maxima wore a Jan Taminiau gown with the Dutch Mellerio Ruby Parure.
