Prince Philip Karađorđević, son of Crown Prince Alexander of Serbia, is getting married to Danica Marinkovic this weekend. In honour of the upcoming wedding, we are featuring the Tiara worn by the groom’s stepmother, Crown Princess Katherine, and may be worn by the bride at the wedding.
This Tiara, composed of diamonds and pearls, was first worn by Crown Princess Katherine at the wedding celebrations of Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark in 2004. The Tiara was worn to Gala Performance and the Wedding Ceremony.
In 2010, Crown Princess Katherine wore the Tiara at the wedding of Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden.
In 2012, the Tiara was worn to the Wedding Ball of Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg and Countess Stephanie de Lannoy.
The last time the Tiara was worn was at the Wedding Ball of Crown Prince Leka of Albania, on October 8th 2016, almost exactly a year before the upcoming wedding of Prince Philip.
