Happy Birthday to Princess Irene of Greece, who turns 77 today! The youngest daughter of King Paul of Greece and Princess Frederica of Hanover, and the sister of King Constantine of Greece and Queen Sofia of Spain, Princess Irene has attended a plethora glittering events, though except for the Greek Pearl and Diamond Necklace Tiara and Queen Sophie’s Diamond Circle Tiara, she does not possess the large collection of her sister and sister-in-law. Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall in Germany

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall have just completed an Official Visit to Germany from May 7th-10th, at the request and on behalf of the British Government, to demonstrate the depth and breadth of the UK–Germany bilateral relationship and its enduring importance to both countries. The visit highlighted key themes in the relationship, as well as the shared history and cultural connections. The Prince of Wales has visited Germany several times, both publicly and privately, most notably with the late Princess in 1987, while the Duchess of Cornwall made an official visit in 2009.
