Captain Cook Bicentenary Tour, 1970
The Queen, Prince Philip, the Prince of Wales and Princess Anne were in the midst of an extensive tour of the South Pacific 50 years ago, visiting Fiji, Tonga, New Zealand, and Australia to mark the bi-centenary of Captain James Cook’s maiden voyage to Australia in 1770.
