The Chief of Clan Fraser who was the only holder of a Lordship in the House of Lords, Lady Saltoun is a fascinating figure who was married to Queen Victoria’s great-grandson, a member of the extended British Royal Family, and also much closely related to the Swedish, Danish and Greek Royal Families. To mark the day, not only are we we learning about Lady Saltoun, but also featuring her Tiara (which has been in the pipeline for almost five years).

King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain were joined by the Princess of Asturias and Infanta Sofia in Oviedo this week to preside over the 2020 Princess of Asturias Awards, to deliver a series of prizes to individuals, entities or companies from around the world who make notable achievements in the sciences, humanities, and public affairs. Established in 1980, the Princess of Asturias Foundation is a private non-profit institution, whose objectives are to contribute to the exaltation and promotion of how many scientific, cultural and humanistic values are universal heritage and consolidate their links to the Principality of Asturias.
