The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh hosted their annual Christmas Lunch for members of the extended British Royal Family at Buckingham Palace on December 20th. This lunch is held for those family members who aren’t invited to spend Christmas with the Queen at Sandringham in Norfolk, due to lack of space. Since this was a private event, we only got pictures of the royals arriving and departing. Continue reading

Members of the British Royal family celebrated the Queen’s Official Birthday by attending the annual Trooping the Colour ceremony in London on June 17th. They rode in carriages to inspect the guards at Horse Guards Parade and then watched a flypast on the Balcony of Buckingham Palace. Continue reading
Pippa Middleton, sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, married James Mathews in a private service at St Mark’s Church on May 20th in Englefield, Berkshire. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were in attendance with Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie. Prince George was the pageboy while Princess Charlotte was the bridesmaid. Continue reading

Members of the British Royal family attended the annual Christmas Service at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham, Norfolk on December 25th. Most of the members of the family are staying with the Queen at Sandringham House for the Holidays. The Queen missed both the services since she is recovering from a heavy cold. Another absence was Zara Phillips, who recently suffered a miscarriage. The family attended the early morning service, which receives little media attention, and the pre-afternoon service, which is usually attended by all of the Queen’s guests. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte attended a service at St Mark’s Church in Englefield, Berkshire, where they are spending Christmas with the Duchess’s family. Members of the British Royal Family attended the Queen’s annual Christmas Lunch at Buckingham Palace on December 20th. On the last day of their Royal Visit to Canada, the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge had a series of engagements in Victoria, the capital of British Columbia. The couple visited mental health charities in the morning and sailed on a tall ship before departing from Victoria Harbour as a family. Continue reading

The Garden Party was held for military families, and was the first occasion Prince George and Princess Charlotte have been seen since Day 1. Continue reading
The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George and Princess Charlotte started the royal visit to Canada on September 24th. They landed at Victoria Airport in the afternoon, and then attended a Welcome Ceremony at the BC Legislature buildings in Downtown Victoria. I was present at the Welcome, and got to see the Duke and Duchess. I also shook hands with the Duchess. We covered previous royal visits to Victoria recently. Continue reading
The British Royal Family attended the Trooping the Colour, the official birthday of the Queen, in London on June 12th. The Royals rode in carriages to inspect he guards, and then watched a flypast on the Balcony of Buckingham Palace. This was the second event for the Queen’s 90th Birthday Celebrations in June, there was a Thanksgiving Service at St. Paul’s Cathedral on June 11th, and the Patron’s Lunch will be held on June 13th.
