The Queen pulled out of today’s Platinum Jubilee Service at St Paul’s Cathedral due to ‘discomfort’ caused during yesterday’s Trooping the Colour Ceremony, and was instead represented by the Prince of Wales, supported by members of the ended Royal Family. Continue reading
Members of the British Royal family celebrated the Queen’s Official Birthday by attending the annual Trooping the Colour ceremony in London on June 2nd, launching the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Weekend Festivities. They rode on horses and in carriages to inspect the guards at Horse Guards Parade and then watched a RAF Flypast from the Balcony of Buckingham Palace. The Duke of Cambridge presided over the Colonel’s Review of the Irish Guards last week.
Royal Families from around the world joined the British Royal Family for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Memorial Service at Westminster Abbey on March 29th, to celebrate the life and legacy of the extraordinary public figure that was HRH Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, after his Funeral last April had to be modified due to the Pandemic.
