Christie’s Property from Descendants of King George V and Queen Mary- 13 December 2019

Christie’s is auctioning ‘Property from Descendants of King George V and Queen Mary’ in London tomorrow, featuring objects which belonged to Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester and Princess Mary, Princess Royal and Countess of Harewood, and are being sold by the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester (who are downsizing from their home at Kensington Palace) and the Earl of Harewood. Jewels of Princess Natalie Paley

Sotheby’s is auctioning a variety of illustrious jewels in their Fine Jewels and Magnificent Jewels Sales in New York City on December 9 and 10, which come from a family collection inherited from Mrs John C. Wilson, née Princess Natalie Paley, the daughter of Grand Duke Paul Alexandrovich of Russia (and a half-sister of Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna and Grand Duke Dmitri Pavlovich) who became a fashion model and socialite after emigrating to France and later the United States following the Russian Revolution.
