Royal and Noble Guests and Relatives from around Europe gathered to celebrate the Wedding of Countess Leonie von Waldburg-Zeil-Hohenems and Count Caspar Matuschka in Hohenems on June 22nd.
Countess Leonie von Waldburg-Zeil-Hohenems married Count Caspar Matuschka in Hohenems at the Kirche St. Karl Borromäus in Hohenems, followed by a procession back to the Palast Hohenems.
Countess Leonie is the daughter of Count Franz Clemens Maria Josef Willibald von Wladburg zu Zeil-Hohenems and Countess Stefanie von Blankenstein while Count Caspar is the son Count Wilhelm Nikolaus Franziskus Pius von Matuschka and Marie-Louise von Voss.
Countess Leonie wore a striking Diamond Tiara which was a Köchert Necklace given by Emperor Franz Josef I to his granddaughter, Archduchess Elisabeth Franziska of Austria Tuscany, when she married Count Georg von Wladburg zu Zeil-Hohenems in 1912. The Necklace pendant was worn asa Brooch by the bride’s mother, Countess Stefanie.
Royal and Noble Guests were led by King Willem-Alexander (godfather of the bride) and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands (wearing Queen Emma’s Diamond Aigrette) along with the Princess of Orange (in Queen Máxima’s Tanzanite Earrings).
