King Constantine’s Memorial Service at the Metropolitan Cathedral in Athens 

The Death of King Constantine II | Royal Guests arrive in Athens | The Funeral and Burial of King Constantine II of Greece

The Greek Royal Family held a Memorial Service for the late King Constantine II of Greece at the Metropolitan Cathedral in Athens on February 18th, marking 40 days since the King’s passing. Nine Kings, Nine Queens and an Empress joined the Greek Royal Family for the Funeral of King Constantine at the Metropolitan Cathedral in Athens last month, followed by the Burial in the Royal Cemetery at Tatoi Palace. Tomorrow morning, a Trisagion will be held at the King’s Tomb in the Royal Cemetery at Tatoi Palace, while another Memorial Service will be held in London in a few weeks.

Queen Anne-Marie was joined by Crown Prince Pavlos and Crown Princess Marie-Chantal as well as Prince Constantine Alexios, Princess Maria Olympia and Prince Achileas-Andreas for the Memorial Service at the Metropolitan Cathedral in Athens.

The late King’s other children, Princess Alexia, Prince Nikolaos and Princess TatianaPrincess Theodora and Mathew Kumar, Prince Philippos and Princess Nina, were also present at the Service.

King Constantine’s two sisters, Queen Sofia of Spain, and ,Princess Irene of Greece, were also present along with Infanta Elena and Infanta Cristina of Spain. Prince Michael and Marina Karella, Princess Michael of Greece were also in attendance.
