Later, the Crown Princely Family joined King Harald and Queen Sonja on the Balcony of the Royal Palace of Oslo, where they greeted the Children’s Parade in Oslo. The custom of greeting children from the Palace Balcony on Constitution Day dates back to 1906, when it was introduced by King Haakon and Queen Maud.
Wow! I can’t believe how tall and handsome Prince Sverre Magnus has become! He’s almost as tall as his father! And Princess Ingrid has grown up into a beautiful young woman. Congratulations to the Crown Princely family and the whole of Norway on their Constitution Day!
