The Japanese Imperial Family hosted Princess Alexandra of Kent on her 8-Day Official Visit to Japan on this day in 1961, during an extensive Tour of the Far East which included also visits to Hong Kong, Thailand, Burma, and Yemen. Remembrance Sunday 2021

The Royal Family attended the annual Remembrance Sunday Service at the Cenotaph on Whitehall in London on Remembrance Sunday, November 14th, honouring those who have lost their lives in conflict, with this year marking the Centenary of the unveiling of the Royal British Legion. The Royal Family attended the Royal British Legion’s Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall last night, but the Queen has had to pull out due to a strained back, for only the seventh time during her 70-year reign.
