Wedding of Lady Pamela Mountbatten

Lady Pamela Mountbatten, the younger daughter of the Earl and Countess Mountbatten of Burma, married interior designer David Hicks in the midst of a snowstorm at Romsey Abbey.

The Wedding Reception was hosted by Lord and Lady Mountbatten at the Family Seat of Broadlands, before the couple left on their honeymoon, where they were at when Countess Mountbatten suddenly passed away.

All the Royal Family except the Queen and the Duke of Gloucester attended the wedding of Lady Pamela Mountbatten and Mr. David Hicks. Lady Pamela wore a fur-trimmed satin gown by the House of Worth paired with the Mountbatten Pearl and Diamond Tiara.

Royal Guests and Relatives were led by Queen Louise of Sweden and the Duke of Edinburgh. The Queen was heavily pregnant with Prince Andrew and thus unable to attend.
