Danish Royal Tiaras 2016

There was a moderate showing of the Danish Royal Tiaras in 2016. It was standard at the New Year’s Court, a tiara debut at a gala dinner for art and culture in March, repeats at the Mexican State Banquet, a missed opportunity at King Carl Gustav’s 70th Birthday celebrations, and official portraits for a Copper Wedding Anniversary in November.

In January, at the New Year’s Court, Queen Margrethe wore the Pearl Poire Tiara, Crown Princess Mary wore the Danish Ruby Parure, and Princess Marie wore her Diamond Floral Tiara.

At a gala dinner for art and culture in March, Queen Margrethe wore the Baden Palmette Tiara, Crown Princess Mary debuted a new Diamond, Ruby, and Spinel Necklace Tiara, and Princess Marie wore her Diamond Floral Tiara.

At the Banquet during the Mexican State Visit in April, Queen Margrethe wore the Baden Palmette Tiara, Crown Princess Mary repeated her Necklace Tiara, and Princess Marie wore her Diamond Floral Tiara.

In April, at the King Carl Gustav’s 70th Birthday celebrations, Queen Margrethe wore the Baden Palmette Tiara while Crown Princess Mary only wore a gold hair piece. In November, in honour of her Copper Wedding Anniversary, pictures were released of Crown Princess Mary in the Danish Ruby Parure and her Necklace Tiara.
