King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden are hosting King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands on their State Visit to Sweden from October 11th to the 13th, to celebrate and build diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties in the first Dutch State Visit to Sweden in over 35 years. Energy transition, sustainability, the life sciences and smart mobility are central themes of the State Visit with shared values and cooperation on innovative solutions for the challenges of today and the future.

Foreign Royal Guests joined the Norwegian Royal Family for Princess Ingrid Alexandra’s 18th Birthday Banquet at the Royal Palace in Oslo on June 17th, as part of her delayed 18th Birthday Celebrations. Finnish State Visit to Sweden
The Swedish Royal Family hosting President Sauli Niinistö and First Lady Jenni Haukio of Finland, who are on a State Visit to Sweden from May 17th to the 19th, to celebrate and build diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties. King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia last made a State Visit to Finland in 2015, while the last Finnish State Visit was in 2012.
