Funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh

The entire British Royal Family and some special Foreign Royal Guests attended the Ceremonial Royal Funeral of HRH Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on April 17th. The oldest and longest serving Consort to the longest-reigning Monarch in British History, the Duke passed away peacefully last week at Windsor Castle a few months before his 100th Birthday, and was heavily involved in the planning of his own Funeral, though they have been modified due to the ongoing Pandemic.

Today marks the anniversary of the Death of Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna, Princess Nicholas of Greece, the only daughter of Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich of Russia and Duchess Marie of Mecklenburg-Schwerin who married Prince Nicholas of Greece and became the mother of Princess Paul of YugoslaviaPrincess Marina, Duchess of Kent, and Princess Elisabeth, Countess of Törring-Jettenbach. Queen’s Christmas Lunch at Buckingham Palace

The Queen hosted her annual Christmas Lunch for members of the extended British Royal Family at Buckingham Palace on December 18th. This lunch is held for those family members who aren’t invited to spend Christmas with the Queen at Sandringham in Norfolk, due to lack of space.
