  1. What a beautiful, sparkling evening! Not only was everyone looking splendid, it was very refreshing to see so many representatives of so many nations breaking bread together in harmony. I have a question regarding the second photo. Do you know who is the lady in the blue gown that is standing between the Queen and PM May? I know I’ve seen her before but her name escapes me. BTW, I love her gown!

It’s was so nice to see the entire family supporting the Queen! I know Prince Charles wants to streamline things when he’s king, but I do hope he doesn’t limit royal appearances to his two sons and their wives only. I think he should include his brothers and sister too. What do you think?

    1. That lady is Baroness Scotland, who is the Secretary-General of the Commonwealth of Nations!

I do hope Prince Charles includes the extended family at glittering events, because there are all those seats that need to be filled at Banquets! I’m pretty sure his siblings will be full time working royals, and in the future we might see more of his nieces and nephew at special events, like the Dinner.
