Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Prince Harry married Meghan Markle at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle on May 19th. The couple will now be known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Click HERE to look at the Open Post.

Meghan Markle and her mother, Doria Ragland, journeyed from the Cliveden House Hotel to Windsor Castle while Members of the Royal Family entered St George’s Chapel via the Galilee Porch and Prince Harry and the Duke of Cambridge entered from the West Steps.

After arriving at the Castle, Meghan was joined by the Bridesmaids and Page Boys, including Prince George and Princess Charlotte, as she entered the Chapel from the West Steps and walked down the aisle, where she was joined by the Prince of Wales.

The Service was led by David Conner, the Dean of Windsor and solemnized by the Archbishop of Canterbury. There was also an address by the Presiding Bishop of the USA Episcopal Church and a Reading by Lady Jane Fellowes, the sister of the late Diana, Princess of Wales.

Afterwards, the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex exited the Chapel through the West Steps, and following a Kiss for the cameras, they rode through the streets of Windsor in a carriage procession, which concluded at the Long Walk.

Later, the Queen hosted a Reception in the St George’s Hall. In the evening, the Prince of Wales will host a Reception at Frogmore House (HERE).

Prince Harry wore the frockcoat Uniform of the Blues and Royals with the Star of the Royal Victorian Order. Meghan wore a white, silk cady gown by Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy with a veil featuring the flora of the 53 countries of the Commonwealth, topped by Queen Mary’s Diamond Bandeau and Cartier Earrings and a Bracelet. Guests included almost all the members of the Royal Family, including the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Princess Royal and Sir Timothy, Peter and Autumn Phillips, the Duke of York, Sarah, Duchess of York, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Jack Brooksbank, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, Lady Louise Windsor, Lady Sarah and Daniel Chatto, the Duke and Duchess of Kent, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Princess Alexandra, and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent. Other guests included Oprah Winfrey, Priyanka Chopra, George and Amal Clooney, David and Victoria Beckham, and the cast of Suits.

  1. Thank you for collecting such great photos! Did you have access to the one where the colors from the stained glass windows hit the white of Meghan’s veil and train while she and Harry are standing at the altar? The only place I saw it was in a photo that was apparently at the cover of a Philippine newspaper but haven’t seen it elsewhere (and can’t find it again). I caught a glimpse when I rewatched the video, but would love to see the still again.
