It was a delight to be invited to the opening of the new Cartier Exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne today, which has my discovery of Queen Azizah’s Cartier Tiara on display, among several spectacular Royal and Noble Jewels from the Cartier Collection and the Victoria & Albert Museum !
Almost two years ago, I made the discovery connecting Queen Azizah’s Diamond Bandeau to Queen Mary’s ‘lost’ Diamond Lozenge Bandeau and I am now excited to reveal that Queen Azizah’s Cartier Tiara is now on display in the new Cartier Exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, which opens tomorrow and runs until October!

While we were in Paris for the opening of the landmark ‘Dynastic Jewels’ Exhibition at the Hôtel de la Marine in December, we were graciously invited to view the celebrated ‘Art Deco’ Exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, which has magnificent Art Deco Jewels on loan from from Cartier, Boucheron, Chaumet and Van Cleef & Arpels!

After the Köchert Exhibition in Budapest and the Albion Jewels at the Victoria & Albert Museum, we were invited to the private viewing of the magnificent Royal and Noble Jewels on display in the landmark ‘Dynastic Jewels’ Exhibition at the Hôtel de la Marine in Paris, which is a collaboration between the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Al-Thani Collection.
While much of the permanent collection from the V&A’s Jewellery Gallery is in Paris over the next few months, magnificent Jewels of Royal and Noble Provenance from Britain, Russia, Denmark and Germany have been loaned by the famed Albion Art Collection and are on display at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London until April 2026!
There are several Royal and Noble Exhibitions opening this month! A major new exhibition has opened this week at Madrid’s Galería de las Colecciones Reales, shining an unprecedented spotlight on Queen Victoria Eugenie of Spain. Titled “Victoria Eugenia,” the exhibition is the first monographic show ever dedicated to a Spanish queen, organized by Patrimonio Nacional, and will be on view from December 3rd until April 5th, 2026.
Since the announcement of the Habsburg Royal Jewels hidden in Canada last month, we have been in close contact with the famed House of A.E. Köchert in Vienna. Last night, we were invited to the preview of the magnificent Exhibition ‘A. E. Köchert Jeweller to Emperor and Crown’ at the Royal Palace of Gödöllő near Budapest, which opens today and runs until April 6th. Magnificent Heirlooms from the Habsburg Family, the Austrian Nobility and Princess Caroline of Monaco are on display!
This has been quite the year for Jewellery Exhibitions in London, and after the Cartier Exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum and the ‘Edwardians: Age of Elegance’ Exhibition at the King’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace, magnificent Jewels from the British Royal Family and Aristocracy, Imperial France, Romanov Russia, and the Qatar Royal Family’s Al Thani Collection are on display in the landmark Brooch Exhibition at Wartski in London this week!

On my visit to Paris last month, I had the pleasure of seeing the French Crown Jewels on display in the Galerie d’Apollon of the Musée du Louvre, which was right before visiting the Maison Chaumet flagship store on Place Vendôme.
Last week, Assistant Editor David Rato and I had the pleasure of visiting the historic Maison Chaumet flagship store at 12 Place Vendôme in Paris, where we saw heirloom heritage Tiaras, extraordinary drawings and photographs and the cast of the Olympic Medals in what was a truly extraordinary experience!
Last month, we were in Paris and London and visited several Exhibitions in addition to the leading French and English Jewellery Houses, which we will feature this month, starting with the heritage Pearl Jewels from Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier and the Albion Art Collection on display at the ‘Paris: City of Pearls’ Exhibition at the L’ÉCOLE School of Jewelry Arts in the Hôtel de Mercy-Argenteau in Paris!
