We got to see several spectacular Royal and Noble Tiaras worn at last night’s State Banquet held by the British Royal Family for Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman at Windsor Castle, on his State Visit to the United Kingdom this week!
The British Royal Family held a State Banquet for Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman at Windsor Castle on his State Visit to the United Kingdom, following the ceremonial Welcome Ceremony at Windsor.
Queen Camilla wore the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara, which was Queen Mary’s emblematic wedding gift from the ‘Girls of Great Britain and Ireland’ which became the iconic jewel of her granddaughter, the oldest and longest reigning Sovereign in British History, and is now worn by Queen Camilla.
The historic Kent Amethyst Earrings, among the oldest jewels in the Royal Vault, were paired with a mysterious Amethyst Necklace of unknown provenance.
Additionally, Queen Camilla was wearing the Queen Mother’s Cartier Bracelets and Queen Victoria’s Diamond Bar Brooch to secure the the Sash of the Order of Al Said, with the Star of the Order of the Garter, as well as the Royal Family Order of King Charles III.
The Princess of Wales wore Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot Tiara, which has been regular in her Tiara rotation for over a decade!
The Princess also wore Greville Diamond Chandelier Earrings, another favourite heirloom in recent years. The Chandelier Earrings were the spectacular Cartier Jewels of the wealthy Heiress, which were given as a wedding gift to the late Queen and remained a lifelong favourite.
An Art Deco Diamond Brooch as well as Queen Mary’s Diamond Choker Bracelet were worn with the Sash and Star of the Royal Victorian Order, and the Royal Family Order of King Charles III.
The Princess Royal wore Princess Andrew’s Meander Tiara, the Sash and Star of the Order of the Garter, the Royal Family Order of King Charles III, and the Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II.
Princess Anne also wore a striking Pearl and Gold Parure as well as a large Gold Brooch, which both may be gifts from Oman.
The Duchess of Gloucester wore the Gloucester Honeysuckle Tiara with a Pink Kunzite, Topaz Necklace, and Diamond Earrings as well as Diamond Daisy Brooches with the Order of the Garter, the Royal Family Order of King Charles III, and the Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II.
The Marchioness of Lansdowne wore the Lansdowne Diamond Floral Tiara.
Another of the Queen’s Companions, Jane von Westenholz, also wore a Diamond Tiara.
