King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands are visiting Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and Miami on their working Visit to the United States of America from April 13-16, to underscore and strengthen the relationship and intensive cooperation in numerous fields at both the federal and state levels.
On April 13th, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima were received in Philadelphia by the Governor of Pennsylvania before meeting business representatives during a CEO roundtable and a networking reception with Governor Shapiro. In the evening, the King and Queen visited the Fishtown neighbourhood before visiting the American Football club Philadelphia Eagles.
Later in the afternoon, the King and Queen attended a networking reception with representatives of Dutch and American companies, cultural institutions, and the US government in Washington D.C.
In the evening, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima were joined by Prime Minister Jetten for a Dinner held by President and Mrs Trump at the White House, where the King and Queen spent the evening.
