The Wedding of Prince August-Frederik of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, son of Prince Ludwig-Ferdinand zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and Countess Yvonne Wachtmeister af Johannishu, and Mia Rohla at the Parish Church of St. Nikolaus (Katholische Kirche Wolfpassing an der Hochleithen) in Wolfpassing, near Vienna on September 3rd, followed by a Reception at the Bergmühle estate in Kronberg. Prince August, as August Wittgenstein, is an actor who has played numerous Royal Roles in film and tv while Mia is the great great granddaughter of Richard Strauss.

Royal guests and Relatives in attendance included the Prince of Schaumburg-Lippe, Prince Carl-Albrecht and Princess Camilla of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, Prince Manuel and Princess Anna of Bavaria (sister of the groom), Princess Theodora of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and Count Miklós Bálint Béla Bethelen de Bethlen, Countess Margherita von und zu Arco-Zinneberg, Prince Leopold and Princess Ursula of Bavaria, Prince Konstantin and Princess Denise of Bavaria, Prince Maximilian and Princess Franziska zu Sayn- Wittgenstein -Berleburg, and Princess Charlotte von Bismarck among a host of Royal and Noble Guests.
August-Frederik also works as an actor with the name August Wittgenstein. He played the role of Prince George Donatus of Hesse in The Crown season 2 episode 9.
