Happy Birthday to Beatrice Borromeo-Casiraghi, who turns 37 today! The daughter of Don Carlo Ferdinando Borromeo, Count of Arona, son of the 2nd Prince of Angera, and his longtime partner Countess Donna Paola Marzotto, daughter of socialite Countess Marta Marzotto, Donna Beatrice Borromeo Arese Taverna comes from the illustrious Borromeo Family which owns most of the Borromean Islands in the Lago Maggiore, much of the city of Milan, and has major estates in Lombardy and Piedmont. Educated at the Liceo Classico Giovanni Berchet in Milan, she received a bachelor of laws from Bocconi University in Milan in 2010 and a Masters in Journalism from the Columbia University Journalism School in 2012.

A journalist for Il Fatto Quotidiano, Newsweek and Daily Beast, she has worked as a broadcast journalist for Anno Zero on Rai 2, being sanctioned Special Envoy for Human Rights for F4D, and getting into a public spat with the Prince of Venice after breaking a story on Vittorio Emanuele of Savoy, Prince of Naples. Donna Beatrice began modelling in 2000 at the age of 15, and has worked for Chanel, Valentino, and Trussardi, being announced as the 2021 Dior ambassador.

After being in a relationship since 2008, in 2015 Beatrice Borromeo married Pierre Casiraghi, the son of Princess Caroline of Monaco and Hanover, and nephew of Prince Albert II of Monaco. The couple have two sons; Stefano Ercole Carlo and Francesco Carlo Albert, and are regularly seen at Royal and Noble events in the Principality and around Europe.
