The Norwegian Royal Family hosted Crown Princess Mary of Denmark on her Business Visit to Norway on June 10th, to strengthen the close trade and cultural relations between Denmark and Norway and to support the growth and position of Danish companies in the Norwegian market.

In the morning, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway joined Crown Princess Mary for the conference “The green, sustainable and climate-safe cities of the future” at the Oslo City Hall, followed by the conference “The robust healthcare system of the future in Norway and Denmark” in Oslo Science City. Later, King Harald and Queen Sonja hosted a Luncheon at the Bygdø Royal Farm.

In the evening, Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit joined Crown Princess Mary for an official Dinner to mark the opening of the New National Museum in Oslo. The Norwegian Royal Family will officially open the Museum tomorrow, and it is expected that Crown Princess Mary will be back in Oslo next week for Princess Ingrid Alexandra’s 18th Birthday Banquet.
