King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia attended the National Day celebrations in Borlänge and Ludvika, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel attended the National Day Celebration in Hagaparken. Prince Carl Philip also presented scholarships for “The Thinking Hand” drawing competition.

In the evening, the entire Royal Family rode in a carriages to attend a concert at Skansen. King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia were joined by Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle, Prince Oscar, Prince Carl-Phillip, Princess Sofia, Princess Madeleine, and Christopher O’Neil. For the concert, the ladies changed into Sverigedräkten, Swedish National dress since 1983. Later, they attended the National Day Reception at the Royal Palace.
