Happy Birthday to the Duchess of Cambridge! The eldest daughter of Michael and Carole Middleton, she is the elder sister of Pippa and James Middleton and grew up in the United Kingdom, apart from a couple of years in Jordon. Educated at a series of Public Schools, including Marlborough College, she graduated from the University of St Andrews with a degree in History of Art. In 2011, after a decade-long relationship, she married Prince William of Wales, who had been made the Duke of Cambridge, at Westminster Abbey. The couple have three children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. The Duke and Duchess reside between Kensington Palace in London and Amner Hall in Norfolk. One of the most famous women in the world, she is a fashion icon, responsible for the ‘Kate Effect’, making her worth £1 billion to the UK fashion industry. The Duchess is also responsible for a number of patronages and initiates, most notably the very successful Heads Together. I wish HRH a very Happy Birthday and Many Happy Returns!

UPDATE: As wife of the heir to the Throne, the Duchess became the Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge upon the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022, becoming the Princess of Wales the following day.
