Duke of Cambridge

Happy Birthday to HRH the Duke of Cambridge, who turns 35 today. The eldest son of the Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer, Prince William was born (and is) 2nd in line to the British Throne. He has a younger brother, Prince Harry. Educated in London, at Eton, and at the University of St. Andrews, Prince William joined the Household Cavalry, trained with the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force, served as a helicopter pilot with the RAF’s Search and Rescue Force, and currently works in the East Anglian Air Ambulance service, though he will leave his post later this year. In 2011, after an almost decade-long relationship, he married Catherine Middleton, the same day he was created the Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Strathearn, and Baron Carrickfergus. The Duke and Duchess have two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. This autumn, the family will move from their home in Norfolk to their Apartment in Kensington Palace, as the Duke and Duchess continue to increase their role in support of the Queen. I wish HRH a very Happy Birthday and best of luck for the coming year!
