Ahead of tomorrow’s Belgian State Visit to the Netherlands, we take a look back at the Dutch State Visit to the Netherlands in 1981.  L – R; Prince Albert of Belgium (later King Albert II of Belgium), (father of King Philippe), Queen Fabiola of Belgium, (wearing the Wolfers Tiara), Prince Claus of the Netherlands, Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands (now a Princess again, wearing Queen Emma’s Diamond Tiara), King Baudouin of Belgium, and Princess Paola of Belgium (later Queen Paola of Belgium) (wearing Queen Elisabeth’s Bandeau).  The upcoming Belgian State Visit of King Philippe & Queen Mathilde to the Netherlands of King Willem Alexander & Queen Maxima will take place from November 28 to 30. We covered the Dutch State Visit to the Netherlands in 1960 yesterday.
