Funeral of Princess Christina of The Netherlands

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of The Netherlands were joined by almost all the members of the Dutch Royal Family, including her children, Nicolas, Juliana and Bernardo Guillermo, and sisters, Princess Beatrix, Princess Irene and Princess Margriet, as they processed behind the coffin of Princess Christina of The Netherlands from the mourning chapel of the Fagel’s Garden Pavilion in the grounds of Noordeinde Palace to the Coach House where the private funeral service took place on August 22nd. After the service, the Princess’ remains were cremated. At the request of the late Princess, no black was worn. Princess Christina passed away on August 16th, after suffering from bone cancer for several years.
