Hendes Majestæt Dronningen og Kronprinsparret ønsker her det diplomatiske korps et glædeligt nytår ved dagens nytårskur på Christiansborg Slot. I århundreder har Kongehuset og danskerne ønsket hinanden et glædeligt nytår, og i dag og i morgen vil Dronningen og Kronprinsparret deltage i flere nytårskure. I formiddags var der kur for Højesterets dommere, Den Kongelige Livgardes og Gardehusarregimentets Officerskorps i Christian VII's Palæ, Amalienborg, og i morgen afholdes der nytårskur for officerer fra Forsvaret og Beredskabsstyrelsen, de tre rangklasser samt indbudte repræsentanter for større landsorganisationer og protektioner på Christiansborg Slot. 📸 Keld Navntoft, Ritzau Scanpix og Kongehuset ©️

Queen Margrethe of Denmark was joined by Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary as she hosted a New Year’s Levée for the Supreme Court and the Officer Corps of the Royal Life Guard and Royal Hussar Guard Regiments at Christian VII’s Palace, Amalienborg followed by a New Year’s Levée for the Diplomatic Corps at Christiansborg Palace on January 3rd. This comes after the Queen hosted a New Year’s Reception on the 1st.

Queen Margrethe wore the fur trimmed navy damask gown she always wears for the event with the earrings and brooch from the Pearl Poiré Parure, the Sash and Star of the Order of the Elephant, and the insignia of her other Orders. Crown Prince Frederik wore Uniform with his medals, the Sash and Star of the Order of the Elephant, and the insignia of his other Orders. Crown Princess Mary repeated her modified Heartmade gown with her Pearl Earrings, the Sash and Star of the Order of the Elephant, and Queen Margrethe’s Family Order.
