Today marks the Anniversary of the Wedding of Queen Juliana and Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, who got married on this day in 1937. Then then Crown Princess Juliana of The Netherlands, heiress to the Dutch Throne, married Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld in a relatively private wedding, which was not a State Occassion. The couple had four daughters and remained married until their deaths in 2004.
