Happy Easter to all of our readers and followers who celebrate the holiday! In honour of the occasion, we are taking a look at the stunning Imperial Fabergé Eggs, given by the Tsars of Russia to their Tsarinas on Easter between 1885 and 1917. Made under the supervision of celebrated Russian jeweller, Peter Carl Fabergé, these jeweled eggs are one of the finest examples of Imperial wealth and design, famous for their surprises. The Norwegian Royal Family will be hosting President Guðni Th. Jóhannesson of Iceland next week. The programme includes a glittering State Banquet at the Royal Palace of Oslo on the evening of the 21st. Duchess of Connaught’s Fringe Tiara

Today marks the centenary of the death of Princess Louise Margaret, Duchess of Connaught, a daughter-in-law of Queen Victoria, who died on this day in 1917. In her honour we will take a look at one of her most worn tiaras, which the Duchess wore to grand events throughout her life, and was also worn by her daughter-in-law. Baden Sunburst Tiara

Today’s glittering tiara belongs to the members of the family who ruled the German Grand Duchy of Baden until 1918. However, they have managed to keep their Sunburst Tiara and their Ruby Wreath Tiara.
