The Hon. Alexandra Knatchbull, the daughter of the then Lord and lady Brabourne and granddaughter of Countess Mountbatten, married Thomas Hooper at Romsey Abbey. The then Prince of Wales walked the bride up the aisle. Lady Alexandra and Thomas Hooper have two sons.
The Prince of Wales walked the bride, a goddaughter of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, up the aisle, and the wedding was attended by a host of British and Foreign Royals. Alexandra is the great-granddaughter of the famous Lord Mountbatten, the last viceroy of India, and the family still maintain their ties with Royalty of Europe.
