The British Royal Family are hosting Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu at Windsor Castle on their State Visit to the United Kingdom this week.
The Prince and Princess of Wales greeted Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu at the Fairmont Hotel in Windsor and traveled with them to Datchet Road.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla received President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu in an Official Welcome Ceremony in the town of Windsor before a Carriage Procession to Windsor Castle, where there was a Guard of Honour and an Audience with members of the Royal Family.
In the afternoon, the King and Queen invited the President and First Lady to view a special exhibition of items relating to Nigeria from the Royal Collection in the Green Drawing Room, before the King and President met organisations who work in interfaith dialogue nationally and internationally.
In the evening, King Charles III and Queen Camilla held a State Banquet in honour of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu at Windsor Castle. Both the King and President gave Speeches.
Queen Camilla wore the Belgian Sapphire Tiara and her Diamond Serpent Necklace with King George VI Sapphire Earrings, the Sash and Star of the Order of the Garter, and the Royal Family Order of King Charles III.
The Princess of Wales wore Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot Tiara and the Queen Mother’s Sapphire Fringe Earrings with the Sash and Star of the Royal Victorian Order, and the Royal Family Order of King Charles III.
The Princess Royal wore Princess Andrew’s Meander Tiara, Queen Mary’s City of London Choker, her Diamond Bow Brooch, the Sash and Star of the Order of the Garter, the Royal Family Order of King Charles III, and the Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II.
The Duchess of Gloucester wore the Iveagh Tiara, Queen Mary’s Pearl Fringe Necklace and Art Deco Brooch with the Order of the Garter, the Royal Family Order of King Charles III, and the Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II.
Queen Camilla wore the Greville Ivy Leaf Clips
The Princess of Wales wore Princess Diana’s Collingwood Pearl Earrings.
