The British Royal Family attended the fifth and final day of races at the Ascot Racecourse on June 21st. Royal Ascot is a permanent fixture on the British Royal Family’s June calendar and the late Queen attended all five days of the horse-racing event for over 70 years. This year, Royal Ascot follows Order of the Garter Service and Trooping the Colour.
A Royal Procession of four carriages traveled from Windsor Castle to the Ascot Racecourse in horse-drawn landaus, before the Royal Family and their guests spent the day in the Royal Enclosure.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla presented the winner of the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes to Horse Breeder Oliver Tait.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla (wearing a Diamond Watch Brooch given to Queen Mary by Alice de Rothschild in 1893) were joined by the Sir Mark Prescott and Ms Lizzie Spender in the First Carriage.
In the second carriage, Princess Eugenie of York and Jack Brooksbank with Mr and Mrs. Ed Walker.
Lord and Lady Ashton of Hyde were joined by Mr and Mrs. David Howden in the Third Carriage.
Mr and Mrs Rory Bremner sat with Mr and Mrs Nicky Henderson in the Fourth Carriage.
