King Frederik X and Queen Mary of Denmark hosted a New Year’s Levée at Christiansborg Palace on January 7th, following the New Year’s Court (Nytårskur) at Amalienborg Palace and two New Year’s Levées held yesterday.
King Frederik X and Queen Mary were escorted by the Gardehusarregimentets Hesteskorte in the famous Guldkareten from Amalienborg Palace to Christiansborg Palace.
King Frederik X and Queen Mary hosted a New Year’s Levée for Officers from the Armed Forces, the National Emergency Management Agency, invited Representatives of large National Organizations, and Royal Patronage, at Christiansborg Palace.
King Frederik wore Uniform with his medals, the Sash and Star of the Order of the Elephant from the Crown Jewels, and the insignia of the Order of the Dannebrog from the Crown Jewels.
Queen Mary wore a repeated blue gown with Antique Diamond Earrings and one of Queen Josefina’s Diamond Brooches the Sash and Star of the Order of the Elephant, King Frederik X’s Portrait Order, and the Badge of the Order of the Dannebrog.
The Danish Royal Family joined King Frederik X and Queen Mary of Denmark as they held their first annual New Year’s Court (Nytårskur) and Banquet at Christian VII’s Palace, Amalienborg in Copenhagen.
King Frederik X and Queen Mary hosted a New Year’s Levée for the Supreme Court and the Officer Corps of the Royal Life Guard and Royal Hussar Guard Regiments at Christian VII’s Palace, followed by a Levée for the Diplomatic Corps at Christiansborg Palace on January 6th.
