Princess Marina in Athens, 1952

King Paul and Queen Frederica of Greece as well as Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna, Princess Nicholas of Greece and Princess Theodora, Margravine of Baden joined Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent (wearing her Girandole Earrings and her Romanov Bow Brooch) and the  Duke of Kent for a Reception given by the British Ambassador to Greece, Sir Charles Peake, and Lady Peake, at the British Embassy in Athens on this day in 1952, during a stay in Athens following her five-week Tour of the Far East.

 Princess Theodora, Margravine of Baden (wearing her Diamond Scroll Tiara) and Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent (in her Pearl Bandeau and Vladimir Pearl Earrings) also joined King Paul, Queen Frederica (wearing her Queen Sophie’s Diamond Tiara), and Princess Nicholas (in her Vladimir Fringe Tiara and Emerald Brooch) for the State Banquet hosted in honour of the Turkish President at the Royal Palace of Athens.
