King Charles III hosted Sultan Abdullah Ria’yatuddin Al Mustafa Billah Shah, The Sultan of Pahang and Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King of Malaysia) and Tunku Azizah Aminah, the Tengku Ampuan of Pahang and Raja Permaisuri Agong (Queen of Malaysia) for an audience in the 1844 Room at Buckingham Palace on October 12th, with the Queen exclusively revealing to us that they had tea with the King. The last Malaysian State Visit to Britain was in 1993, but the Malaysian King and Queen had luncheon with the late Queen in 2019 and also attended her Funeral last month, as well as the Heads of State Reception.
