Infanta Elena of Spain was joined by her sister, Infanta Cristina, and sister, Princess Alexia of Greece, as well as her mother, Princess Sofia, aunt, Queen Anne-Marie, and grandmother, Queen Frederica, for her 8th Birthday Party at the Zarzuela Palace in Madrid on this day in 1971, months after their summer photoshoot a few years before Prince Juan Carlos succeeded to the Spanish Throne in 1975, marking the Restoration of the Spanish Monarchy.
