Today marks the 80th Anniversary of the Death of Kaiser Wilhelm II, who died in exile at Huis Doorn in The Netherlands. The eldest son of Emperor Frederik of Germany and Victoria, Princess Royal, the Kaiser antagonized Relatives and Allies during his 30-year Reign, launching the disastrous First World War which caused unparalleled devastation. To mark the Anniversary, we are featuring two documentaries on the Kaiser, most notable of which is ‘The Crippled Kaiser: The Secret History Of Queen Victoria’s Disabled Grandson.’
