Duchess of Gloucester and Mike Tindall on Parkinson’s Awareness Month

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron of Parkinson’s UK, and Mike Tindall, Patron of Cure Parkinson’s, have joined forces to mark Parkinson’s Awareness Month this April. The Duchess and Mr Tindall spoke via video call to thank carers, volunteers, researchers and fundraisers who dedicate their time to supporting people living with Parkinson’s. Mike spoke about his father, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2003, and the Duchess said:

It’s World Parkinson’s Day on Sunday, which is a good opportunity to thank all the carers, supporters, researchers, volunteers and fundraisers who do so much for the charities and for people who live with Parkinson’s.

The conversation between the Duchess of Gloucester and Mike Tindall will feature on Parkinson’s UK’s YouTube playlist, under the theme ‘Together, Apart’, and can also be viewed on Cure Parkinson’s website.
