Royal Annual Summer Photos 2019

Most of the Royal Families around the world have started their Annual Summer Holidays, and many of the European Royal Families have been releasing their Summer photos or posing for photo calls, and unlike previous years, when we featured each one individually, this year, we are rounding them all up in one article. Here are the pictures that have been released, but do remember to return as we will be updating this article when other Royal Families release their pictures.


The Danish Royal Family released photos when Queen Margrethe joined the Crown Princely Family arrived at Gråsten Palace from the Royal yacht Dannebrog, and then when she was joined by other members of her family, including her sister, Princess Benedikte, and cousin, Princess Christina of Sweden, for the Changing of the Guards, the Gråsten Ring Rider Parade, and a Concert. Later, the Crown Princely Family posted photos from their holiday on the Royal yacht Dannebrog.

The Netherlands

In the Netherlands, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima were joined by the Princess of Orange, Princess Alexia and Princess Ariane for their annual the summer photo session, for the first time outside their newly renovated home, the Huis ten Bosch Palace.

The Norwegian Crown Prince Family held a photo session at the country house on Dvergsoya outside Kristiansand, where Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit were joined by Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus.

In Spain, King Felipe VI, Queen Letizia, the Princess of Asturias and Princess Sofia posed for photographers during their annual summer photocall at the Marivent Palace in Palma de Mallorca. The Royal Family, along with Queen Sofia, have been regularly seen throughout their holiday in Palma de Mallorca, most notably the King at the Copa del Rey, with King Harald of Norway. The Royal Family also posed for photographers during a visit to the ‘Son Marroig’ museum.
