Today marks the Anniversary of the fire at Windsor Castle, which destroyed much of the State Apartments on this day in 1992, on the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh’s 45th Wedding Anniversary, and one of the many events in the Queen’s Annus Horribilis. Thus, we are featuring ‘Windsor Restored: After the Fire’ a documentary that takes a look at the restoration of the Castle after the fire, with interviews with members of the royal family, up to it’s great reopening for the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh’s Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1997.
