Sandringham Flower Show 2016

TRH’s the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall visited the 135th Sandringham Flower Show on July 27th. The royal couple looked at papier mache balloon models of themselves, as well as the exhibitors tents. The Prince has been Patron of The Sandringham Estate Cottage Horticultural Society since 2002.

 

The Prince and Duchess arrived in a horse-drawn carriage, and then went to the Flitcham Church of England Primary Academy tent. They were shown papier mache balloon models of themselves, ‘How wonderful!‘the Duchess exclaimed. ‘I can see a slight resemblance, especially the hair‘  She picked up a large elephant and handed over £10 ‘Isn’t he sweet?‘ she asked journalists, before playfully batting Prince with it.

 

The Prince of Wales wore a grey suit with a blue striped tie. The Duchess of Cornwall wore a grey floral dress with a singe-strand pearl necklace and her Everyday Pearl Pendant Earrings.
